The Alchemy of Consciousness | Dreamwalker’s Sanctuary

We are living in a time of great upheaval, the time prophesied across many cultures and religions. One of the most important things we can do is stand in our personal power and envision a world whose moral force is love and peace.
Sue Dreamwalker is a woman who exemplifies this dynamic. Her writing is uplifting, always encouraging us to come from our hearts. Her latest post suggests we consider the power of thought in the now, with an eye toward the future. I hope you will visit her inspiring BLOG ❤️

The Alchemy of Consciousness

The alchemy of consciousness that created you and me

Is nudging us to lift our hearts to open and begin to see

That the branches we stand upon within the Tree of Life

Keeps us reaching upwards, as you walk away from strife.

And from the lofty view, as we gaze back upon our path

We see the culmination of our thoughts that create such wrath

So, stand within your power, The elixir of your Light

As you open up your Vision, create a brand-new Sight.

Know that your thoughts are the paint in all you do

You can either paint in bright colours or allow fear to dim your view.

Nature despite all that the seasons throws at her, she never gives in. No matter how cold or how much snow or rain has covered those new shoots, she pushes on through and ALWAYS Blooms. Giving us her best with what she has been given.  I often feel for the animals who must at times be as confused as we are, but they continue to be motivated to survive and thrive.  They never give up, no matter what is thrown at them, they learn to adapt, or they don’t survive.

Spring brought us a weeks grace here the other week when temperatures soared to record highs in the UK for April in 70 years, It lasted a week, then plummeted back to normal, and once again the wind and rain has set in. While I know in other parts of the world Snow and cold temperatures have lasted longer than normal, While in other parts Floods never seen before have been happening.

No matter what the world is showing us at the moment, be it in extreme weather or extreme behaviours, we have to be more like nature, and keep on keeping on, just being the BEST we can be.

Time is precious.  And we all of us spend far too much time worrying over things out of our control.. At times I want to rant and rave and shout my rage at what I know to be.. Yet doing so is only adding to the Chaotic energies . . .

“Oh c’mon Deb, you never give a guy a chance,” my bestie Bri lectured on. “You have too many stipulations about dating before you let anyone into your life.”

I was managing an office for a PR firm when I met ‘him’. He’d drop by once a week to pick up work as a freelance editor, After five or six visits and a couple of flirty chats with ‘him’ he’d asked me out for dinner and I accepted,

‘He’ was somewhat handsome and at least gave some interesting conversation. He mentioned his failed marriage and almost had me feeling sorry for him. But as I am ever the skeptic, I always believed there are two sides to every story. It only took me a few more months to discover why he was most likely the ‘dumpee’.

We continued to date despite my nagging little doubts about things I couldn’t quite put my finger on, but my inner alarm system signaled something was amiss with this man, yet, my curiosity got the better of me. So I continued to date him. ‘His’ personality went from hot to cold – sometimes acting affectionate and sometimes downright mean – a streak I learned to fear.

Almost a year had passed and as so many of us do in life, I got complacent. I was in my early thirties when I had brainwashed myself into thinking this was the lot I was dealt, so I better make the best of it, instead of asking, Is this all there is? Don’t I deserve some of those tingly butterflies in my stomach when I’m kissed by the man I’m supposed to be loving?

Six more years went by I spent with ‘him’. In the earlier stages I had resolved myself to thinking that if I left, maybe I’d never get married. I settled for a roller coaster relationship. I thought I could ‘fix’ him. I thought nobody’s life is perfect. I learned to dance around his moods and fits of anger with great caution. After all, I’d made my choice. And like many other women in my situation – women who feel compelled to stay in toxic relationships, I thought I was stuck in that relationship for life.

It took a good few years until I realized myself, and with the constant badgering of friends and loved ones that I became a shadow of my former self. I became quiet, complacent, and had lost any self-esteem I’d worked so hard my whole life to build by allowing a man to demean, threaten and possess me. I would spend the last three years of that relationship making plans to get out of it. But finally I was free. It wasn’t as easy as just picking up and leaving as there became financial issues involved and threats I had to weigh out – would he make good on his word that if I tried to leave he’d make sure that nobody else would have me?

After my escape…

Chaos: Blessing or Curse? – Guest Post by Tina Frisco

My thanks to Chris Graham, The Story Reading Ape, for
hosting me once again as a guest on his excellent and
supportive blog
How do you deal with the chaos in your life? Do you face it, ignore it, deny it, or run from it?
Share your thoughts with us ❤

This past winter was a difficult time for me. Family issues, chronic illness, and an irrational and unpredictable government challenged me to cope on a daily basis and left me depleted. I wanted to shut the door on the chaotic energies flooding my being, but empaths do not seem to have a choice in this matter. We can, however, choose the way in which we cope. Cope! I was in coping overload and heading for a meltdown. Then I came upon the two quotes in these images, and I remembered…

We are in the storm before the calm. We are on the threshold of The Golden Age of Enlightenment, prophesied by the indigenous peoples of most cultures around the world. With renewed hope, my health began to improve.

If you find yourself tiring more easily, on an emotional roller coaster, readily distracted, searching for common words when writing or conversing, or coping with myriad other anomalies of character and being, consider that you might be treading the waters of chaos; a chaos not necessarily of your own making. But do not lose heart! We are exactly where we are supposed to be.

The Universe is cohesive, resilient, sweeping, and powerful.

Marion On My Mind – Guest Post by, Emily Gmitter…

Emily Gmitter shares her memories of and love for her elder sister, Marion, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge a short while ago. Losing a loved one can be devastating and makes us consider our own mortality; but Emily lightens this weighty subject with humor and beauty. #Recommended

Sing it out … sing it out!” My sister Marion would encourage me as I practiced a song I’d hoped to perform at karaoke some night. “That was beautiful! You should absolutely sing that one!” she continued, scrunching up her face and pumping her arm in the air with earnest enthusiasm.

Then came the day when I realized she was tone deaf. How did I learn that? Well, we had another sister, Lena, who, age-wise, fell between Marion, the oldest of eight children, and me, the middle child. Lena encouraged me just as Marion did, but Lena loved to sing, too, although we’d never heard her do so.

One day, Lena decided she would take singing lessons. Marion and I were then routinely treated to Lena’s practice sessions which consisted of repeated—and memorable—renditions of You Light Up My Life.“Sing it out … sing it out! That’s beautiful!” Marion…

Have you been experiencing changes in your body and/or behavior that you cannot explain? At times, do you find yourself in the throes of anxiety or depression that seem to have no trigger? Or do you, like me, feel a sense of urgency – a sense of running out of time – and a longing to go home, but have no idea where home is? If your answer is ‘yes’ to any of these, you might be experiencing symptoms of Ascension.

We incarnated into this earthwalk to learn and grow. In so doing, we forgot who we are – beings of light, elements of The Divine or Source Being – in order to fulfill our mission. But we are in the midst of evolving into the 5th dimension and awakening to the Divine within. We are transcending the relative and moving into the absolute. DNA that has been lying dormant in our bodies is beginning to shift, like the Earth’s tectonic plates, awaiting a massive eruption of awareness.

Transcending to a higher dimension requires resonating with its vibrational frequency. If something vibrates faster than our 3rd/4th dimension’s frequency, it will ascend to a higher dimension and seemingly disappear.

Gaia – Mother Earth – is undergoing an astronomical transformation. Her vibration is rapidly increasing as She evolves into a solar body. This will take many thousands of years, during which time we will have the opportunity to expand with Her and grow into peace and harmony.

What I Have Learned from Chronic Illness – Guest Post by, Tina Frisco… | Chris The Story Reading Ape’s Blog

Many thanks to my friend Chris Graham, The Story Reading Ape, for once again hosting me on his supportive and informative blog
The Story Reading Ape
Visit Chris’ blog HERE. He has so much to offer.

The opportunity to learn presents itself more often than most of us recognize. We ignore or do not hear the knock on the door to our hearts and minds. We become outraged or sickened when engaging with or reacting to someone whose behavior strikes fear in us. We allow our attention to divert to the trivial when facing something that makes us uneasy. Yet everyone and everything we encounter is a mirror, a reflection of ourselves.

I have been off line for most of the past six weeks, coping with a flareup of fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue. When homebound and at times bedridden, it is a challenge to feel connected to the outside world and not slip into depression. I constantly have to remind myself that I am not alone. My shaman teacher told me this early on:

The first lesson of power is that we are alone.
The last lesson of power is that we are one.

Recognizing and engaging with the numerous mirrors always before us requires mindful awareness. Any emotion that disrupts inner peace and union with The Divine provides an opportunity to grow. This could be a personal encounter, a memory, a TV program, a disquieting sound or smell, a visual image…

While in the throes of pain and fatigue, it can be difficult to focus one’s intention. Yet the most exacting circumstances offer the most potential for growth. Remaining aware of this, I have learned many things from chronic illness.

Growth occurs in stages. When we find ourselves in a recurrent situation and feeling frustrated/angry/disgusted, it is important to remember that we merely are peeling away another layer of the onion, the façade we believe to be our true nature. But we must not stop at this realization. We must dive deep and search for the cause, knowing full well we might encounter more illusions along the way. However, with each diving and resurfacing, we discover a piece of the Self we are dying to know. And yes, we are dying. We are shedding the relative–the illusion–and being reborn, moving closer to the absolute.

We move in and out of emotion until we reach
enlightenment . . .

Tips and Tricks

I always appreciate authors and bloggers sharing
information that makes my blogging life a little easier. Over this past year, I’ve picked up several tips and tricks that I’d like to share with you.

WordPress

1. Check comments regularly for Spam and Pending.

Many of us have experienced our comments on other blogs being relegated to spam. This is disconcerting, as the blogger might think we’re not visiting their blog; and we may have no way of
letting them know we are. Check spam first, because when a
comment is marked Not Spam, it will be moved to Pending. Then go to Pending and marked Approved.

2. Close comments when appropriate.

We might choose to close comments on our posts for several
reasons: e.g., we’re going on a blogging break; we’re reblogging and want readers to leave comments on the original post.

Comments can be closed in a draft by unchecking Allow comments in the Discussion section below the post box. To close comments after publication, go to your dashboard and click on Posts. Find the appropriate post, click on Quick Edit, uncheck the box next to Allow Comments, then click on Update.

3. Click on the Reply button when responding to
comments, in order for them to show in notifications.

When replying to a comment, the commenter won’t be notified
unless we click on Reply. This sounds like common sense, yet I’ve discovered ~ quite by accident ~ many a reply entered as a
comment to my comment.

4. Make post links open in new tabs.

This is especially helpful when on a blog that loads slowly. Having a link open in a new tab allows the slow-loading blog to remain in place while we investigate the link.

To create a clickable link in a post, click on the ‘paper clip’ icon in the toolbar. Enter the URL, and then click on the cogwheel to the far right. A window will open. Under the URL, check the box next to Open link in a new tab. You can do this with any link, even those in a reblog if you use Press This. Just place your cursor next to or anywhere within the link, and a small box will open. Click on the pencil icon (edit), then click on the cogwheel to open the window.

You can also have a clickable image open in a new tab, but you must do this after the image is entered into the post.

To create a clickable image, copy the designated URL and paste it into the Attachment Details when entering the image into your post. Scroll down to Attachment Display SettingsLink to and choose Custom URL. Then paste the link into the box below this.

NOTE: https:// is already entered into this box. Delete it before you paste in the custom URL, because it doesn’t disappear on its own.

To have the image open in a new tab, click on it, and then click on the pencil icon. A large window will open. Scroll down to Display SettingsAdvanced Options, and check the box next to Open link in a new tab. Notice that you can also enter the custom URL within this function. Under Display Settings → Link To, click on the down arrow and select Custom URL. A box will open into which you can paste the URL.

If you’re on a blog that doesn’t have dedicated link tabs, you can open any link in a new tab by right-clicking on it, and then left-clicking on Open Link in New Tab.

5. Calendar

It’s helpful to have a calendar on your blog if (1) your home page isn’t your blogroll, (2) you don’t have a designated blog page, or (3) your most recent posts aren’t listed in a sidebar. Clicking on a specific date in the calendar will pull up all posts for that day.

6. Link your blog to Twitter

When your blog is linked to Twitter, Twitter will notify you when someone shares your post. This also makes it easy for the sharer to follow you on Twitter, because your @username will appear at the end of the tweet, and Twitter will ask them if they want to follow yiou.

Go to SettingsSharing, and scroll down to Twitter username to include in tweets when people share using the Twitter
button
. Type your Twitter username in the box.

7. Single space when creating posts.

If you have a free WP site, single-spacing isn’t an option in the tool bar. But you can single space by clicking Shift and Enter simultaneously. This works in (most) emails and word processing software as well.

Gravatar

Be sure to add your website and social network links to your Gravatar page. Also, if your name isn’t identifiable by gravatar or website, and if you’re not purposely maintaining anonymity, state your name in your gravatar profile.

Facebook

1. Open a notification or link in a new tab

This can be done by either tapping on the wheel of your mouse, or right-clicking on the link/notification and checking Open Link in New Tab. This is especially helpful with notifications, because it
allows you to hold your place in your notifications list.

2. Use See First (a News Feed function) and Close Friends (a profile function) to easily keep up with those you are close to. You won’t receive post notifications with See First, but you will with Close Friends.

See First

Click on the down arrow in the upper right corner of your FB page. Click on News Feed Preferences → Prioritize who to see first. FB will pull up images of your friends. You can select up to 30
people or pages. Selections aren’t ranked (the first selection isn’t seen first, the second selection isn’t seen second, etc.).

You can also use this function on profiles and pages after you friend or follow someone. Locate the Following button (bottom right of cover image) and hover your mouse over Following (or click on the down arrow), then select See First.

Close Friends

To select s person as a close friend, go to their profile page,
locate the Friends button (bottom right of cover image) and hover your mouse over Friends (or click the down arrow), then select Close Friends.

Add friends to your Close Friends list if you’d like to receive a
notification each time they post. You can turn these notifications off at any time. You can also add friends to more than one list or remove friends from a list.

News Feed preferences

You can view and adjust your News Feed preferences by following the instructions in the above link. By default, we’re taken to our News Feed when we log on to Facebook. To return to it after
navigating to your profile page, click on the f in the upper left
corner of your page (next to your name in the FB search bar).

Amazon Author Services

When encountering a problem with Kindle or CreateSpace, I’ve found it helpful to speak first with Author Services, and have them transfer me to Kindle or CreateSpace if needed. Issues
regarding manuscript upload will most likely be directed to the
appropriate department. But issues such as what appears on your author page will be handled more efficiently and effectively by
Author Services.

Bookmarks

All browsers save bookmarks in different ways. Some browsers call them favorites. Some allow you to choose the category in which to add them, while others do not.

If you want to insert a bookmark into a specific place, first copy the URL, then right click where you want to add it in your bookmarks list. Select New Bookmark from the menu. In the box that opens, type the name of the bookmark and paste the location of the URL.

When bookmarks are imported from a different browser, they tend to get listed under several other headings and are pushed to the right. If you’re like me, you prefer to have your bookmarks open in a sidebar while you’re online. But the farther right they’re pushed, the less screen space you’ll have. You can solve this to a certain
degree by adding bookmark icons to your browser’s toolbar.

First open the page you want to add, click on the icon to the left of the URL, and drag it to your toolbar.

NOTE: The above bookmark tips work in the Firefox and IE browsers. I don’t know if they’ll work in other browsers, but dare to try!

I hope you’ve found this information helpful. If any of it is incorrect, feel free to note this in the comments. And please share the tips and tricks you might have up your sleeve 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Namaste, my friends ❤

New #Reviews for My Books

While I was ill and recuperating, my books received some lovely reviews ~ a wonderful healing tonic!
My Amazon giveaway for the December 2017 holidays garnered many reviews, and I’m so pleased to share them with you. Those I’ve already featured can be found here, here, and here. The latest are from
Brigid P. Gallagher, Jan Sikes, John Maberry, and
Robbie Cheadle. I’m so grateful for their interest, support, and time given. I’ve added links to their blogs and hope you will visit and follow if they’re new to you

Plateau
PLATEAU by Tina Frisco

from Goodreads   Aug 20, 2017
Brigid Gallagher rated it 5-Stars

Tina Frisco takes the reader on a journey with W’Ityani, a young woman from the E’Ghali tribe who live on the Plateau Beyond The Trees. The tribe respect all living things and share a reverance for Mother Earth, taking only that which they need to survive. W’Ityani has lost her parents at an early age and has been given the task of caring for The Crystal Shard. She falls in love with RoDinjah but they are subsequently separated as he follows his own warrior path. W’Ityani is tested on her own journey, facing fears, embracing her destiny and returning The Crystal Shard to The Great Mosaic of Life.

I loved the message of The Plateau Beyond The Trees and feel Mankind needs to address more respect for our planet and live more in tune with Nature like the E’Ghali tribe.

Vampyrie
Vampyrie by Tina Frisco

Not your Average Vampire Book  5 Stars
By  on January 25, 2018

This story by the talented author, Tina Frisco, is anything but a normal Vampire story. The characters come alive and leap from the pages. I liked the Protagonist, Phoebe, but fell in love with her best friend, Lunah. Phoebe uncovers layer upon layer of secrets that have been withheld from her for her entire life. I don’t want to give away what they are, I will just say that the author kept me guessing. And, not only do we get a riveting story, but we get the backstory on how Vampires came to live on earth and the chemistry of their makeup. I have never read anything like this with such intricate detail and accuracy. There was plenty of action to keep me interested and turning pages and it comes to a climactic conclusion with final big secrets being revealed. I also loved that the author brought two characters into this story from her first book, Plateau. It is a multi-dimensional story layered with spiritual wisdom as well as the character drama. If you love a fast-paced story with lots of surprises, you’ll love this book.

A page-turner that grabs the reader  5 Stars
By  on February 25, 2018

A very different storyline in the vampire genre.Different, in a densely populated genre, is a good thing. But that’s not the main draw of this telling. It’s well-written and keeps you turning virtual pages. The characters are well-developed and believable. I knew I’d like it after the first few paragraphs. If you like a combination of horror, suspense and thriller, you’ll like this one. It even has a surprise twist that I didn’t see coming. I’m big on twists myself.

Gabby and the Quads

Gabby and the Quads by Tina Friswco

By Robbie Cheadle on February 4, 2018

Gabby is an only child. She has lots of fun playing in her little swimming pool during summer time, riding her tricycle, trying on her Mom’s shoes and generally making her parents laugh but Gabby doesn’t have any brothers or sisters.

One day Gabby notices that Mom’s tummy is very big and Mom tells her that she has four new siblings coming, three brothers and a sister. Mom and Dad are a bit worried about how Gabby will react to her new siblings and they devise a fun plan for bringing them home and introducing them to Gabby.

Gabby loves the babies and soon learns how to be really useful and help her parents feed and burp them. She also becomes the Binky Boss, in charge of finding the babies binky’s whenever they loss them.

This is a delightful book, full of gorgeous illustrations, to help prepare small children for the arrival of a new baby.

An American lady who felt compelled to write a novel of hope and who want us to keep our hearts open and act within love instead of reacting out of fear looks at her own country where some one pulls the strings in a dangerous manner.

She writes

Believe me when I tell you that living in the U.S. right now is like being on a nonstop roller coaster ride, minus the thrill. I don’t understand the mindset of those who think our current POTUS is America’s savior. Perhaps they’re not dependent on healthcare for their lives. Perhaps they don’t live paycheck-to-paycheck. Perhaps they’ve never experienced having the rug pulled out from under them. Or perhaps they’ve experienced all of these and are so desperate for change that they cannot see through all the lies.

One has only to read how Hitler came to power in 1930’s Germany to see…
